ESTABLISHMENT OF ANTI DISCRIMINATION CELL
As per the guidelins of UGC, an Anti Discrimination Cell/Equal Opportunity cell in the Insitiute has been set up for the compliance of UGC (Promotion of Equity in Higher Education Institutions) Regulation 2012. We at MAHCOP ConnstituteAnti DiscriminationCellfor the proper working of institute.Anti Discrimination Cell Constitute on date 02th September 2023 on the Prior permission of following members with proper designations.
AIM AND OBJECTS
- The purpost of cell is to take measure against the discrimination and take appropriate measure to safeguard the interst of students without any prejudice to their caste, creed, religion, language, ethnicity, gender and disability.
- Eliminate the discrimination or harassment.
- Promote the equality among the students.
Any person of MAHCOP, including the students, who is he victim of any act of discrimination of harassment as specified in the regulations, shall be dealt with a procedure as specified in guildelines on receipt of a written compliant to the Discrimination Officer.
FUNCTIONS
- To ensure equity and equal opportunity to the community at large int eh college and bring about social inclusion.
- To enhance the diversity among the students, teaching and non-teaching staff population and at the same time eliminate the precreption of discrimination.
- To create a socially congenial atmosphere for academic interaction and for the growth of healthy interpersonal relationships among the students coming from various social backgrounds.
- To make efforts to sensitize the academic community regarding the problems associated with social exculsion as well as aspirations of the marginalized communities.
- To help individuals or a group of students belonging to the disadvantaged section of society to contain the problesm related to discrimination.
- To look into the grievances of the weaker section of society and suggest amicable solution to their problems.
- To disseminate the information related to schemes and programmes for the welfare of the socially weaker section aswell as notification/memoranda, officer orders of the Government, or other related agenciesorganizations issued from time to time.
- To prepare barrier free formalities/procedures for admission/registration of students belonging to the disadvantaged groups of society.
- To establish coordination with the Government and other agencies/organizations to mobilize academic and financial resources to provide assistance to students of the disadvantaged groups.
- To organize periodic meetings to monitor the progress of different schemes.28
- To adopt measures toensure due share of utilization by SC/ST in admissions, recruitments (teaching and non-teaching posts) and to improve their performances.
- To sensitize the college on the problems of SC/ST and other disadvantaged groups.
DUTIES AND RESPOSIBILITIES:
The Cell is constituted to safeguard the interst of students without any prejudice to their caste, creed, religion, language, ethnicity, gender, disability and to elilminate discrimination or harassment against any student in MAHCOP, Boradi and The Committee will receive complants from the affected students in terms of discrimination of caste, creed, religion, language, ethnicity, gender, disability and conduct a proper enquiry, and submit a detailed report to the undersigned for suitable action.
The Convener of the Committee should conduct meeting once in very three months and sent minuts of the meeting to the undersigned.
- This cell will look after the related matter of depriving a student/staff or group of student on the bassis of caste, creed, caste, creed, language, ethnicity, gender, different ability.
- This cell always try to uphold the dignity of the institution by addressing the concerms (if any) brought into the notice related to equality in offering or receiving education inside the campus.
- This cell ensures condutive environment for academic growth of the people belonging to the university.
- This cell protects the rights of individuals without any prejudice to their appearance or lifestyle in the process of learning inside the campus.
- The Cell shall eliminate discrimination against or harassment of any individual in all forms by prohibiting it and by providing preventive and protective measures to facilitate its eradication and punishments for those who indulge in any form of discrimination or harassment.

Meeting of Anti Discrimination Cell
Meeting of the Anti Discrimination Committee was conducted. The cell suggested maintaining a conducive and unprejudiced educational environment free from discrimination in campus and primises. The meeting is call under the guidance and authority of our principal Mr. M. P. Pawar. The Cell is constituted to safeguard the interst of students without any prejudice to their caste, creed, religion, language, ethnicity, gender, disability and eliminate discrimination or harassment against any student in MAHCOP and The Committee will recive complaints from the affected students in terms of discrimination of caste, creed, religion, language, ethnicity, gender, disability and conduct a proper enquiry, and submit a detailed report to the undersigned for suitable action.
Anti-Discrimination Cell MINUTES OF MEETING The meeting of ADC was organized on September 02nd November 2023 and started at 11.00 am with warm welcome by Chairman of the committee Mr. M. P. Pawar. Important points discussed in the meeing are summarized below:
- Anti-Discrimination Officer Mr. S. K. Patil intiated the meeting by appreciating the participation of all members and welcomed all of them in ADC.
- S. K. Patil discussed that there is no registered complaint in respect of caste, religion, and language or based on gender form student, teaching and non teaching staff in the academic Year 2023-24.
- S.K.Patil mentioned about the discipline in college campus and there are no contemporary issues like sexual harassment and gender discrimination till date.
- Chairman also said that as ADC has formed, it will be combined activity of all committee members to promote equality among students of all sections of society in the institute.
- Meeting ended with the discussion that all members of the committee to work hard and bring about the safe working environment irrespective of caste, religion, language or based on gender women rights.
- At the end, Tea programmed was arranged as refreshment for the meet.

AIM
Prevention and prohibition of Ragging in technical Institutions, Universities including Deemed to be Universities imparting technical education.
FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES OF ANTI RAGGING COMMITTEE
The committee will decide and finalize Anti Ragging Regulations for the institution, in accordance with the prevailing regulations of various statutory bodies.
- To conduct Anti Ragging Committee meeting every month, or incase of any compliant registers as and when basis.
- To ensure submission of undertaking in the prescribed format from the candidate concerned on anti-ragging at the time of admission.
- To arrange to send letters to parents, guardiands of the students at the beginning of the academic year for creation of awareness.
- To suggest measures to tighten vigil against any act this constitutes ragging.
- Measures for prevention of ragging so that freshers, senior students and every staff of the institute are made aware of the measures.
- Measures for prohibition of ragging to eliminate the scourge of ragging as per the definition given in the relevant regulations, including the formation of the Anti Ragging squad, Mentoring Cell on ragging etc.
- Ensuring that undertakings in the form of Affidavit by students, parents/guardians and staff members of the institutes are taken.
- Ensuring that the actions to be taken are as per the guidelines of the relevant regulations of the regulatory bodies.
- Time circulation of action taken report to be concerned authorities against Anti Ragging in the institute.
- To build self-esteem & dignity among girl students & ladies faculty member.
- To offer services such as counselling, legal aid in case of atrocities against women.
- To creates awareness regarding women rights.
- To arrange programs regarding health, personality development etc.
- To avoid and prohibit sexual harassment at workplace
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Devise mechanism for receiving, processing and addressing all information regarding incidence of ragging.
- Devise and promulgate a credible anti-regging policy in college.
- Advise Disciplinary Committee and sub- committees on new policies or directives on handling cases of ragging (as applicable ) from time to time.
- Timely address grievances of stakeholders and especially those related to gender sensitivity issues including sexual harassment of women.
- Sensitization of employees towards cases of ragging.
- Seek advice of expert to handle complicated grievance cases related to regging apart form advise by other committess(s)/ sub-committee(s), if need arises.
- Compile/ submit biannual basis, the grievance summary report (on cases related to ragging) if any along with recommendations.
- Maintain all reconds, statements, actions and other correspondences related to ragging cases.
- Discuss major cases of ragging to generate awareness amongst students and faculty.
- Ensure the formation of the carious cells and committees and their proper functioning and monitoring mechanism.

All complaints are scrutinized by the management and the Anti Ragging Committee members. Depending on the seriousness of the problem, the issues are settled by the Cell or by the Principal in consultation with other memebrs of the management, parents and faculty. The collevtive efforts of the management, department heads, class teachers, various staff coordinators of clubs and associations and the Anti Ragging Committee resolved the complaints promptly and efficiently.
First year students are admiited in college at 10th October 2023 so we are select two students and nominated as member of Anti Ragging Committee and dtodya reconstitute the Anti Ragging Cell. As per given in following constitution.

Annual General Body meetin of Anti Ragging Committee held on 02nd November 2023 at 11.00 am at MAHCOP, Shirpur. Mr. S.K.Patil welcomed toMr. M.P.Pawar, Principal and Chairman of Committee all the members of Anti Ragging Committee.

Sub-2To Instill ‘Suggestion Box’ for when Complains rised in college or campus.

ESTABLISHMENT OF GENDER SENSITIZATION CELL
The cell was formed in accordance with the guidelines on sexual harassment prevention in the workplace, issued by the Honorable Supreme Court of India in 1997 and in accordance withhe VISHAKHA guidelines of Supreme Court and endorsed in SAKSHAM report of the University Grants Commission. We ar MAHCOP Constitute Gender Sensitization Cell for the proper working of institute. Gender Sensitization Cell Constitute on Date 20st September 2023 on the prior permission of following members with proper designations.
AIM
The cell aims to sensitize and create awareness about gender justice among the academic and non-academic community in this educational institution.
OBJECTIVES
The Cell has been instructed to spread the message og Gender Equality in order to eliminate gender bias and gender insensitivity through Seminars, Poster Display, OrganisingExhinitions, Submitting Memorandams, Arranging Marches, Dharnas and if required take AgitationalProgrammes.

COMMITTEE
As per the Norms and Requirments, we at MAHCOP Constitute Placement and Carrer Guidance Cell for the proper working of institute. Placement and Carrer Guidance Cell Constitute on Date 04th September 2023 on the Prior Permission of following member with proper designations.
AIMS
- Creating awareness among the students regarding available career options helping them in indentifying their career objectives.
- Guiding the students in developing skills and job search strategier required to achieve their career objectives.
- Identifying suitable potential employers. Arranging pre-placement talks, seminars, presentations, and workshops.
- Organizing activities like campus interview and off campus interview.
OBJECTIVES OF THE CELL
Along with the academic and administrative processes in a college, placement and Carrer Guidance Cell is a dispensation of well-informed and interested teachers. It must support the students in the development of soft skills and communication ability to challenge to rigors of competitive tests and on-job-training in add-on or vocational courses. As a purveyor of healthy inter and intera personal relations, it must inculcate social values and ablitiy to think independently for conducting social responsibilitites. The Placement and Carrer Guidance cell in a college must be a resource centre of information, guidance and counseling with free accessibility and internet based global connectivity and exchange of information on professional placements.
FUNCTIONS
- To gather information on job avenues and placements in different institutions and concerns related to the courses that the College offers.
- To analyze information in the local, regional, and national contexts to explore its relevance and utility for the students in their placements and on –job training.
- To organize seminars and guidance workshops for informing students about the emerging professional trends and events, job profiles, leadership roles, entrepreneurship, market needs and risks and implementation of national socioeconomic policies and to impart training in soft skills.
- To promote discipline, healthy outlook and positive attitudes towards national integration and removal of narrow provincial preferences and prejudices.

Sub-2To Instill ‘Suggestion Box’ for when Complains rised in college or campus.
Procu-2 Mr. M. P. Pawar as a Chairman of Committee permitted to instill suggestion box and if any complaints are rised then dropped in the ‘Suggestion Box’ by students and parents and oral complaints are also redressed. All complaints are scrutinized by the Principal and the Anti Ragging Committee members. Depending on the seriousness of the problem, the issues are settled by the Cell or by the Principal in consultation with other members of the management, parents and faculty. Anti Ragging Committee resolved the Complaints promptly and efficiently.
